In short

AVoidX collects no personal data for me. No account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking — the app talks to your pedal and nothing else.

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA). To deliver and secure the pages, GitHub processes technical data such as your IP address, the time and the page requested (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). GitHub is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The site sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads nothing from third parties.

3. Email

If you write to me, I use your address and message to answer you, and delete them once the matter is settled, unless the law requires me to keep them.

4. The AVoidX app (Mac and iPhone)

• Your pedal: the app finds and controls the pedal on your local network (Bonjour), over USB or Bluetooth, and listens to MIDI footswitches. These connections stay between your devices.
• Microphone / audio input: the looper records the pedal's USB audio. The recordings stay on your device and leave it only when you share them yourself.
• The pedal's Wi-Fi networks: kept in your device's keychain. With iCloud Keychain on, Apple syncs them between your devices; I have no access to them.
• Settings, presets and loops are stored on your device.

Apple: when you get the iPhone app from the App Store or TestFlight, Apple processes data under its own terms. As a TestFlight tester, Apple passes me crash reports, the feedback you send, and the name and email address you were invited with; with your consent in the device's settings, also anonymous crash and usage statistics.

5. Your rights

You may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and complain to a data protection authority. Write to info@argestic.de.
